Viewbix Continues US Growth; Appoints Owen Weed VP, Business Development

New York – Viewbix, a leading video engagement platform, is continuing to build its US presence, appointing digital media business leader Owen Weed as Vice President, Business Development.

Weed is tasked with heading business development efforts in the US with support from the Viewbix sales team on the east and west coasts. His other responsibilities include forming strategic partnerships with agencies and trading desks. Weed is based in New York City.

Most recently, Weed was responsible for the management and sales direction for online video company Yashi’s national sales team. Previously, he served as Head of Global Sales and Business Development and was an investor in BLiNQ Media. Weed’s accomplishments in this role included establishing a trans-Atlantic presence whilst signing multiple deals with agency holding companies, which contributed to the successful sale of BLiNQ Media to Gannett Digital in August 2012. Before BLiNQ Media, Weed held management positions at AT&T Interactive, NBC Universal and Yahoo!.
