Adblock Plus Now Available on Samsung Mobile Devices

Newest Android 6 (Marshmallow) Download to Enable Adblock Plus for Samsung’s Mobile Browser

Adblock Plus, the #1 most popular browser extension for blocking annoying online advertisements with over 500 million downloads, today announced that Adblock Plus for Samsung Browser (on Samsung Internet for Android) is now available with today’s Android 6 (Marshmallow) update. Users can download the Adblock Plus for Samsung Browser extension from the Google Play Store immediately to block any content they don’t want to view while browsing on their mobile devices.

When users download the new version of Android 6 (Marshmallow) on their devices, they can utilize Adblock Plus’s features. After downloading Adblock Plus for Samsung Browser from the Google Play Store, users will then have to turn on the content blocking feature in Samsung Internet for Android.  These features include choosing to allow certain ads through via the Acceptable Ads program, or choosing to block all ads, as well as privacy protection and malware protection features. Acceptable Ads will be turned on by default.

Samsung users can find Adblock Plus for Samsung Browser on all Android 6 (Marshmallow) upgrade models now and on all Lollipop OS (Android 5) models via Google Play market upgrade in March 2016.
