Leading Demand-Side Platform Promotes Company Veteran to Oversee Global Agency Relationships
LOS ANGELES, CA – The Trade Desk, Inc., a leading global demand-side platform in the $20B programmatic advertising space, announced that Brian Stempeck has been named its Chief Client Officer. Stempeck is a veteran of the company, having most recently led the Sales and Integrations teams as its Senior Vice President of Strategic Business Development.
In his role as Chief Client Officer, Stempeck will oversee global relationships with the top agency holding companies and work directly with agency leaders and other aggregators to develop their programmatic advertising strategies.

Prior to joining The Trade Desk, Stempeck worked for Unilever in brand management on the Dove brand, and at Bain & Company, the strategy consulting firm. At Bain & Co., he advised Fortune 500 clients in the retail and pharmaceutical sectors on their online marketing strategies, and also worked for Bain’s private equity practice.
Stempeck holds a BA from the University of Virginia and earned his MBA at the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. He is based out of The Trade Desk’s offices in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, New York.
