San Francisco Business Times Seeks Nominations for Bay Area Most Admired CEO Awards

SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Business Times is seeking nominations for its annual Bay Area Most Admired CEO Awards.

Award winners will be recognized in a San Francisco Business Times special report on Bay Area leadership. Award recipients will also be recognized at an awards dinner on Nov. 19.

To qualify, nominees must be CEO of a private or public company based in the San Francisco Business Times’ Bay Area coverage area of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco and San Mateo counties along with the city of Palo Alto. CEOs of divisions or wholly owned subsidiaries of companies based elsewhere also qualify for nomination.

Nomination deadline is Friday, Sept. 18.

Nominees must be present at the awards dinner to receive the award.

Nominees will be considered in the following categories:
Public companies with $500 million or more in annual revenue.
Public companies with less than $500 million in annual revenue.
Private companies with 500 or more employees.
Private companies with less than 500 employees.
Small businesses (50 to 150 employees.)
Nonprofit.
Professional services firms.
Innovator.
Emerging growth companies (3 to 10 years old, less than 250 employees.)
Institution.
Corporate Citizen.
Lifetime Achievement.

Finalists will be selected by an independent panel of judges, who will consider CEOs who consistently demonstrate excellent leadership of their companies, people, industries and communities. Judges will consider several qualities, including leadership, values, vision, company’s financial performance, commitment to quality and diversity, work environment, community contribution, innovation and overcoming adversity.
