Los Angeles – With the goal of driving Rey to be the largest global resource for outsourced digital and traditional production work, AJ Vernet, an early investor and co-Founder, has joined the company as CEO and Chairman of the Board. Rey works with large agencies, creative shops, publishers and in-house marketing teams as a partner or extension to their creative team and specialize in managing outsourced production teams and the creative process from start to finish.
Rey has seen explosive growth over the last two years. Among the broad areas of concentration where Rey has provided support to major brands and their agencies like Sony PlayStation, Saatchi and Saatchi X, Jet Set, and Lambesis are site creation & discovery, social media, banner production, mobile design & development, video production & motion graphics, and all things related to search. The firm takes special pride in offering amazing project management and customer service.
“Rey allows our clients to increase the number of jobs and revenue by letting us handle the extra campaigns and projects. This eliminates adding to staff and overhead,” says Mr. Vernet. “Rey is a reliable and scalable solution for agencies with over 550 US based ex-agency freelancers under contract in our database. We are like a creative army for hire and our goal is in our new company tagline, to become ‘Your Production Outsource Resource.'”
“AJ has helped build Rey into a formidable digital production company,” says Cory Treffiletti, President and Managing Partner for Catalyst S+F, which is both an investor and client of Rey’s. “As clients and agencies strain under the pressure of having to be expert in every digital format, Rey can help by giving us access to exceptionally talented freelancers who do beautiful work for less than we could do it in-house.”
“We need someone like AJ who understands creative production and has the vision to take us to the global level,” says Josh Zitter, co-Founder and President of Rey.
Mr. Vernet has been responsible for the incubation of numerous websites and most notably, Sharkle, Republic Project and Vitrue.com. The latter was voted CNN top 25 hottest online company to watch.
