TOKYO – mediba, Inc. and Nobot, Inc. will change the service name of AdMaker to “mediba ad powered by AdMaker” from Saturday, October 1, 2011. Nobot Inc has operated AdMaker, the ad network for smartphones. This is notification that future development by both companies will be under one mediba ad brand. mediba, Inc. and Nobot, Inc will create the second largest (*1) network as an ad network for smartphones within Japan.
mediba ad, which started in March of 2010, is a next-generation advertising platform that networks sites and apps primarily for au one, au’s integrated portal site.
mediba acquired Nobot’s ordinary shares, on Friday, August 31, 2011, forming a group company. Moving forward, mediba and Nobot will work jointly to promote their connections in the ad network business both within Japan and abroad, strengthening their partnership both domestically and overseas. They aim to offer an ad network service with the largest advertising network both within Japan and in the Asia region where smartphone use is expected to grow.
