Larry Harris Joins PubMatic as Company’s First Chief Marketing Officer

Experienced Mobile Marketing and Advertising Veteran Brings 20 Years of Digital Media Expertise

NEW YORK – PubMatic (http://www.PubMatic.com), the digital media platform company for publishers, today announced that Larry Harris has joined the company as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). A seasoned advertising and digital marketing executive, Harris has led integrated marketing and branding programs for Microsoft, Bank of America, Verizon Wireless, AT&T and Intel.

Harris has served in senior leadership roles at advertising agencies and media technology start-ups for the past 20 years. He was the CEO and Co-founder of Ansible Mobile, advising Fortune 500 companies on the value of mobile marketing programs. Before co-founding Ansible, Harris served as Executive Vice President of Integrated Marketing for Draftfcb, where he built and led the global technology team and oversaw the company’s relationship with Interpublic.

“We are delighted to bring Larry’s deep and diversified marketing experience to PubMatic,” said Rajeev Goel, Co-Founder and CEO of PubMatic. “We continue to attract talent that is the best in the business and I’m excited to have Larry’s vision, knowledge and creativity on the management team.”

PubMatic created the CMO position to support its aggressive go-to-market strategy for 2012. The company has steadily been releasing new products to help publishers programmatically sell inventory. Earlier this month, PubMatic released PubDirect, which allows publishers to monetize their guaranteed and non-guaranteed inventory in a private marketplace that covers all demand channels. PubMatic recently announced PubLink, a set of open APIs and pre-packaged integrations that gives publishers a single point of integration to access partners and services in real time.

“We are seeing a sea change in the publishing world and PubMatic is at the forefront of this transformation,” said Larry Harris. “I look forward to helping PubMatic provide premium publishers profit from their ability to connect content, consumers and brands.”
