Engagement advertising leader adds key executives in Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Revenue Officer and Vice President of Sales roles

John Capano joins SocialVibe’s Los Angeles headquarters as its Chief Marketing Officer, bringing to the company a unique combination of marketing, brand-building and technology experience. Capano was most recently the Senior Vice President of Digital Strategy at Wunderman, one of the world’s top ranked digital and marketing services agencies, where he advised clients such as Toshiba, Southwest Airlines, and Invisalign on digital and social strategy. Before joining Wunderman, Capano was head of digital strategy for RiechesBaird, a business-to-business brand development agency, and he was the co-founder and managing partner of Mead, Coen & Pure, LLC, an entertainment and emerging technology consulting practice in Los Angeles helping clients like Pepsi, Visa, and General Motors leverage emerging technology and entertainment to solve marketing challenges.
As SocialVibe’s Chief Revenue Officer, Brett Lofgren will be responsible for overseeing the company’s global sales team and will be based in New York. Lofgren joins SocialVibe from the Epic Media Group, a leading player in the online performance marketing space, where he was Chief Revenue Officer managing sales and business development activities through agency, brand direct and inside sales divisions. While at Epic, Lofgren held several senior management positions including SVP of Sales and VP of Global Business Development where he expanded international business in Europe and Latin America. He also added the responsibilities of Chief Executive Officer and Senior Restructuring Advisor for one of the company’s subsidiaries, Epic Advertising. Previously, Lofgren spent over six years at Yahoo! where he held various sales leadership roles, covering key strategic accounts in the Eastern Region. He is also a founding member of Kinetic Social, a social media solutions provider that was a charter partner in the Facebook® API Key and Facebook® Approved Ad Platform programs.
A 20-year advertising veteran, Bob Lonigro joins SocialVibe as its Vice President of Advertising Sales, where he will oversee client and agency relationships and will be based in New York. Prior to joining SocialVibe, Lonigro was VP of Media Sales at Blue Noodle, a casual and social gaming advertising company where he was instrumental in scaling the ad sales business and developing new revenue streams. Lonigro also previously led the sales team at Live Gamer, the world’s first combined digital commerce and advertising platform for the interactive entertainment industry. Before that, Lonigro was an Executive of Media Sales at Electronic Arts’ Pogo.com where he built the digital in-game sales team and oversaw monetization of the casual games and in-game advertising divisions. Lonigro has also held senior positions at IAC and GeoCities.com, where he was among the first people to monetize community. Lonigro has extensive experience in media planning, including a senior position at Ogilvy & Mather where he oversaw 12 Kraft Foods brands and implemented over $160 million in annual media spending.
