ClickBerry Launches: Turns Brands’ Videos Into Engaging, Clickable Marketing Assets

ClickBerry Launches Interactive Video Creator for Brands, Advertisers, and Individuals;

Downloadable Product Gives Any Video Clickable Interactivity to Increase Viewer Engagement

Los Altos, CA – ClickBerry today announced the official launch of its interactive video creation platform, which lets brands, advertisers, and individuals easily increase viewer engagement of their videos. Viewers of the ClickBerry-enhanced videos will be able to click on specific segments of videos to order products, get more information, ask poll questions, or instantly interact with social media sites like Facebook. Anyone can now create an interactive rich media experience on the fly, for free.

ClickBerry users can download the app to take advantage of simple tools that add clickable features like annotations with more information, Facebook likes, hyperlinks, e-commerce ordering information, to any part of their video, for however long they want.
The fully clickable video can then be uploaded to ClickBerry’s Cloud Storage and shared on a user’s website or blog, or added to third-party websites like Facebook or Twitter.

For example, a musician can annotate a music video with clickable tags for viewers to learn more about concerts, buy a ticket from the video, or like a Facebook fan page, all without interrupting their video watching experience. An early beta test was done with this interactive music video, which showed more than a 6% “click-to-buy” conversion rate: http://clickberry.tv/video/23286.

ClickBerry is now available to download for Mac, Windows, the iPad, and will soon be available on more platforms: http://clickberry.com

“We believe the future of media is an interactive combination of videos, pictures and apps,” said Alex Babin, CEO of ClickBerry.

“ClickBerry changes the way people consume video. The traditional way of processing a video (whether on TV or online) is to watch first, and then – possibly – to react afterwards, whether that’s purchasing a product or finding more information about what they saw. ClickBerry puts that next step of video engagement into the video itself through a seamless, interactive experience that benefits both the video’s viewer and the video’s creator.”

“The proliferation of online video consumption makes ClickBerry a key new tool for brands,” said Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari and current advisor to ClickBerry. “While companies know that creating video content is important, having video content that viewers can easily and instantly engage with is a hugely strategic next step.”

“We’ve beta-tested ClickBerry’s platform on several of our videos and our partners love it,” said Vikrant Mathur, co-founder of iFood.tv. “The ClickBerry technology gives them a unique way to make the videos interactive. Viewers are taking advantage of the opportunity to get more information on recipes and make social connections. The technology provides for a more engaging experience.”
