Growing team supports new personalized audience targeting solutions for world’s largest brands
BOSTON – ChoiceStream, a leading provider of targeted advertising solutions, announced the expansion of its advertising operations team to meet increased demand for algorithmic-driven, real-time, personalized advertising campaigns.
2013 is poised to be “the year of the quant,” as qualitative analysts are necessary to handle an increasingly data-driven advertising approach this year. According to Forrester Research, the number of ad campaigns based on algorithms doubled in 2012, compared to 2011. This year, they are expected to account for 20 percent of all advertising campaigns – a $3.3 billion market – according to a recent study from eMarketer.
Meeting this demand requires an expansion of roles and responsibilities, across the company’s qualitative, creative and managerial departments. Leading the expansion is Jeff Valente, ChoiceStream’s new Chief Revenue Officer. Valente previously served as vice president of sales, leading the CRUNCH advertising platform to its highest period of client-driven impressions in its history.
Also promoted across the company include Bill Guild (vice president, Product & Marketing) and Peter Bishop (vice president of Ad Operations). Helping to meet the staffing needs to support the increased popularity of ChoiceStream’s solutions is Beth Reagan, who has been promoted from director of Human Resources to vice president of Human Resources.
To supplement the qualitative team with full-service digital capabilities, ChoiceStream is also expanding its creative department, led by newly appointed Creative Director Bill Tortolini. In his new role, Tortolini will oversee the creation of innovative and engaging interactive ads that communicate brand fundamentals while collecting consumer attitudes. His team provides the creative and technical components that fill the gaps between client strategists, in-house creative teams and the CRUNCH full service ad operations group. Joining Tortolini’s team is Lindsay Burke, graphic designer and Mike Stefaniak, solutions engineer.
“There’s no question that data-driven advertisements are the future of the advertising industry, and we’re beginning 2013 poised to meet its growth,” said Eric Bosco, COO of ChoiceStream. “We base our campaigns on actionable, real-time data, so we’re staffing our company accordingly to highlight those skills and capabilities across our team. It’s an exciting time to be in this industry, and we’re looking forward to continued momentum throughout the year.”
