CyberAlert Unveils New Media Measurement Tools and Services for PR & Marketing

STRATFORD, Conn. – CyberAlert, the media monitoring and measurement service for public relations and marketing, unveiled new tools and services for qualitative assessment and measurement of online news, broadcast news and social media clips.

“CyberAlert’s new media measurement tools and services meet the needs of most companies and not-for-profit organizations to gain greater insight into media clips by assessing tone and other metrics”

The new online tools enable CyberAlert clients to perform their own online clip assessments for multiple qualitative factors including sentiment analysis. Clients can measure news and social media clips by any or all the following qualitative categories: subject, author, story type, tone, prominence, dominance, messages (customized for each client), quoted personnel, project/region/division, and a client-specified custom category.

CyberAlert also announced that it will now provide clip assessment services to clients who prefer to outsource this function.

Especially designed for mid-market companies and not-for-profit organizations, the media measurement tools are an enhancement of ClipMetrics, the CyberAlert quantitative measurement service that appends viewership and news rank metrics to every media clip, generating results within seconds that include over 500 different graphs and charts.

The new ClipMetrics qualitative tools are designed for ease of use to enable quick and effective assessment, and allow CyberAlert’s public relations clients to better analyze the success of PR and social media programs. The tools permit clients to customize criteria with specific categories, including company-specific marketing messages, names of spokespersons, and brands and divisions. A “custom” category provides an open-ended category for clients to set up quality assessments of their choice.

CyberAlert is making all ClipMetrics clip assessment and media measurement tools available at no charge until the end of the year to all current clients and any new clients who subscribe to its media monitoring and measurement service before August 30, 2013.

“CyberAlert’s new media measurement tools and services meet the needs of most companies and not-for-profit organizations to gain greater insight into media clips by assessing tone and other metrics,” said William J. Comcowich, CEO of CyberAlert. “Though designed for mid-sized companies, the service is robust enough to meet the needs of many large companies. Best of all, it is today’s most cost-effective way to obtain in-depth media monitoring and measurement for public relations evaluation.”
