“This leadership award from Frost & Sullivan validates our strategic approach and our ability to deliver value on both sides.”

The research from Frost & Sullivan indicates that the capabilities of Pinsight Media+ make it a compelling proposition for brands, agencies and content publishers to work with for meeting their mobile advertising requirements. Pinsight Media+ ranked highest overall or tied its competitors in five categories, including features/functionality, innovative element of the product, product acceptance in the marketplace, provides customer value enhancements, and product quality.

Advertising customers of Pinsight Media+ consistently achieve higher than industry average results because of Sprint’s open strategy, which allows subscribers to control their advertising experience, Frost & Sullivan noted.

“By delivering the best combination of reach and relevancy, Sprint has successfully established itself as a preferred provider of mobile advertising solutions,” said Vikrant Gandhi, principal analyst, Frost & Sullivan. “Sprint’s unique assets, along with its continued investments in mobile advertising systems, will help it remain at the forefront of operator-supported mobile advertising initiatives in North America.”

Launched in October 2012, Pinsight Media+ has quickly created a robust advertising ecosystem for advertisers. In May, Sprint acquired Handmark, Inc. and its subsidiary OneLouder to enhance Pinsight Media+ with mobile app experts and sophisticated technology. Also in May, Sprint and Time Inc. unveiled a mobile content, advertising and retail alliance. In February, Sprint announced that it joined with Telefónica to discuss collaboration on creating one of the largest mobile advertising alliances in the world, potentially reaching more than 370 million mobile customers across the United States, Europe and Latin America with targeted advertising.

Sprint has also received certification for its Pinsight Media+ mobile advertising program from TRUSTe, a leading online data privacy management solutions provider.

“From day one, our goal with Pinsight Media+ has been to better connect mobile customers and advertisers with relevant information at the right moment,” said Kevin McGinnis, vice president-Product Development and Operations, Pinsight Media+. “This leadership award from Frost & Sullivan validates our strategic approach and our ability to deliver value on both sides.”
