Tremor Video Now Includes Viewability Results for Every Media Buy at No Additional Cost

Reports Powered by Tremor Video’s MRC-Accredited Technology, VideoHub

NEW YORK – Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), a leading provider of technology-driven video advertising solutions, announced it will provide media network clients with average viewability percentage as a part of its standard reporting for every campaign, at no additional cost. Tremor Video is able to provide such metrics because its proprietary technology, VideoHub®, became the first video advertising technology to be accredited for average viewability percentage by the Media Ratings Council (MRC) in May 2013.

“We believe this unmatched level of transparency will help clients better understand how their video ads are performing.”

“We are committed to guaranteeing brand performance in video for our advertising partners, and viewability is a critical factor in ensuring success,” said Lauren Wiener, President of Global Sales and Marketing at Tremor Video. “We believe this unmatched level of transparency will help clients better understand how their video ads are performing.”

While the industry is working to determine a standard definition for a viewable impression in video, Tremor Video is providing clients with a recap of how their ads performed for the entire duration – beyond just whether it was in-view for a few seconds. Even when a standard is determined, it will be a minimum requirement. Our reporting will provide clients with a complete view of their campaign’s results so they can determine what they deem as standard.

This follows Tremor Video’s recent announcement to allow advertisers to transact on guaranteed brand metrics, including Cost-Per-100% Viewable & 100% Complete (CPV&C), which is a pricing model where advertisers only pay for ads that were 100% in-view and viewed to 100% completion. Pricing models such as CPV&C directly match buying guarantees to brand marketers’ goals from awareness at the top of the marketing funnel to brand metrics like engagement, perception, favorability and intent in the middle of the marketing funnel.

Tremor Video Inc.’s VideoHub was accredited by the MRC for Average Viewability Percentage, as well as Engagement, Clicks, Served Digital Video Impressions and Unique Cookies. MRC accreditation certifies that VideoHub’s procedures and accredited metrics adhere to the MRC’s Minimum Standards for Ratings Research and to applicable industry-accepted measurement guidelines issued by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).
