“By joining with Tinypass, we’ll be better able to service this diverse and fast growing demand more effectively than we could as a standalone entity. We are extremely pleased to become part of the Tinypass team.”

Based in New York, Swishu’s client list includes National Review, The Nation, and radio operator Pacific Media Group, among others. As part of Tinypass, Swishu will support the company’s mission of enabling media companies of all sizes – from individual bloggers to major outlets with millions of readers – to implement customized and consumer friendly business models for their digital content.

“The Swishu ethos of making paid content work for both consumers and publishers perfectly matches the Tinypass model,” said Tinypass CEO Trevor Kaufman. “The company’s subscriber management tools, which allow publishers to seamlessly coordinate their physical subscriptions with their digital offerings are particularly complementary to our existing feature set and will be a strong addition to our industry leading product capabilities. It’s a great acquisition for Tinypass as we continue to provide media owners with powerful, transparent and easy to use monetization solutions.”

The Tinypass platform enables ecommerce for content, in which sites exchange premium access for payments, ad views, data, or social sharing. More than 250 media companies, publishers, research firms, education companies and business information providers currently utilize Tinypass to implement revenue strategies. The company recently closed a $3 million funding round and has been growing at a rate of 40 percent on a month-to-month basis.

“Publishers looking to introduce sophisticated paid-content revenue models no longer need to spend the millions of upfront dollars to develop their own solution from the ground up,” said Goulding. “By joining with Tinypass, we’ll be better able to service this diverse and fast growing demand more effectively than we could as a standalone entity. We are extremely pleased to become part of the Tinypass team.”
