Yahoo Japan Corp. Establishes Local Subsidiary YJ Marketing Ltd. in the United Kingdom to Assist Marketing Activities of Europe-based Businesses Within Japan

TOKYO – Yahoo Japan Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Manabu Miyasaka; hereinafter “Yahoo! JAPAN”) announced that a local subsidiary YJ Marketing Ltd. was established on 8 May, in the United Kingdom, in response to European clients’ expanding internet marketing needs within Japan.

Yahoo! JAPAN, with aid from YJ Marketing Ltd., will assist Europe-based businesses, which are considering starting or increasing marketing activities within Japan, so that they can efficiently utilise Yahoo! JAPAN’s internet advertising services.

Yahoo! JAPAN continues to develop its domestic internet marketing business. However, in recent years, Yahoo! JAPAN has been receiving numerous enquiries and requests from overseas businesses for assistance with marketing activities within Japan. Yahoo! JAPAN has established this new UK subsidiary supporting Yahoo! JAPAN activities to accurately respond to such requests, and to provide detailed assistance with the marketing activities of Europe-based businesses within Japan. Building on the establishment of this local subsidiary, Yahoo! JAPAN intends to expand further its marketing solutions business and, in future, actively promote the development of its operations.
