YuMe Integrates Audience-Aware SDK With JW Player – the World’s Most Popular HTML5/Flash Digital Video Player

Pre-integration with the JW6 Platform offers turn-key in-stream video advertising solution for publishers, better audience insights and fastest time to monetization, without additional efforts

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – YuMe, Inc. (NYSE:YUME), a leading provider of digital video brand advertising solutions, and JW Player, the provider of the world’s most widely-adopted digital video player, have partnered on a streamlined solution for publishers to better manage, deliver and monetize their digital video content.

“This integration will allow YuMe’s array of publishers to monetize quicker and more effectively through JW Player’s turnkey setup and reliable delivery.”

Starting today, YuMe’s Audience-Aware SDK becomes one of only two proprietary SDKs that JW Player has automatically embedded into the JW6 Platform. The deep integration allows publishers to easily and rapidly deploy in-stream audience surveys, immediately begin gathering validated insights on their audience makeup, and, most importantly, gain access to YuMe’s premium Audience Segments campaigns and interactive ad units through its Connected Audience Network and Video Reach.

“Our distinctive partnership with JW Player accelerates time to monetization for publishers and allows them to reap the many benefits of our SDK, including brand safety controls and audience insights,” said Bob Hall, VP, Platform & Partnerships, YuMe. “In addition, the partnership gives publishers access to our curated ecosystem, which spans media and device types, and gives brand video advertisers the control, insights and safety they’re looking for.”

The initial launch partner for the integration is Baeble (www.baeblemusic.com), a New York-based music publication dedicated to providing high quality, originally-produced video content. A long-time client of both YuMe and JW Player, Baeble will use the JW6-compliant YuMe Audience-Aware SDK to support YuMe’s interactive ad formats and first-party audience surveys to ensure that its in-stream video inventory is filled with the most relevant and highest-value video advertisements.

“YuMe and JW6 are the nexus of our web video architecture. Right out of the gate, this partnership gives us the best of both worlds – content delivery from JW Player and better monetization and fill rates from YuMe,” said David Moffly, Chairman, Baeble Media. “More tightly integrated technologies are simply a win-win for us.”

“A core strategy for JW Player is to develop a seamless video ad ecosystem for our customers,” said Dave Otten, CEO of JW Player. “This integration will allow YuMe’s array of publishers to monetize quicker and more effectively through JW Player’s turnkey setup and reliable delivery.”
