HyprMX Expands to Bring Fortune 500 Brand Ads to Mobile

Hires industry veteran Dan Laughlin to capitalize on marketplace demand for brand video ads

NEW YORK – App install campaigns dominate the mobile marketplace, and developers are looking for alternatives. HyprMX has built an easy way for developers to run ads from Fortune 500 brands. To build on its success since launching in 2012, HyprMX has added industry veteran Dan Laughlin as vice president of business development.

“I’m excited to join HyprMX and help developers find a better way to monetize,” said Laughlin. “It’s crazy that the vast majority of mobile advertising drives users away from their experience to app stores. We can create a more premium experience for developers and gamers alike by helping the industry shift to brand ads.”

Laughlin joins HyprMX from Flurry, where he managed games-related initiatives and partnerships for Flurry’s publishing services. Prior to Flurry, he worked in business development and producer roles at Microsoft Game Studios, and earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

“Dan brings a wealth of expertise and deep relationships in the gaming industry to the HyprMX team. He really understands how to help developers build profitable businesses,” said Corey Weiner, HyprMX CEO. “Dan is the perfect person to spearhead HyprMX’s expansion.”

“Dan’s experience will be a great asset for HyprMX. We’re excited to have him speaking again at Casual Connect this week,” said Neal Sinno, staff advisor, Casual Games Association.
