Nada Stirratt Named Chief Executive Officer of Verve Mobile

NEW YORK – Verve Mobile, the leader in location-based mobile advertising, today announced the appointment of Nada Stirratt to succeed Tom MacIsaac as chief executive officer, effective immediately. Stirratt will be based in Verve’s New York City office, making the Chelsea location the company’s official new headquarters.

Most recently, Stirratt was Acxiom’s first chief revenue officer, responsible for the company’s global client-facing initiatives, including sales, account management, delivery, analytics and consulting. Stirratt was instrumental in driving Acxiom’s digital transformation, culminating in its acquisition of leading data onboarding platform LiveRamp. While at Acxiom, Stirratt engineered the data giant’s brand positioning and go-to-market strategy, and expanded its global partner network to include some of the world’s most significant and prestigious agencies and media partners.

“There is no one better to lead Verve into this next phase of growth than Nada Stirratt. We had very specific criteria for our new CEO, and we have been highly strategic about finding the right individual – Nada is that individual,” said Tom Kenney, Verve’s president and founder. “Her proven track record in transforming and scaling advertising businesses across the data-driven marketing landscape is exactly what Verve needs as we embark on this next chapter of product innovation and international growth.”

Prior to Acxiom, Stirratt was the chief revenue officer at MySpace, where she oversaw global sales, strategy and advertising operations. Stirratt previously served as executive vice president of digital advertising at MTV Networks, and held leadership positions at Advertising.com and Moviefone, both of which were acquired by AOL.

“I am thrilled to be joining Verve at this extraordinary time in mobile marketing,” said Stirratt. “Verve has led the development of location-based mobile advertising for over a decade and its exclusive technology continues to drive real-world transactions and prove sales lift through proprietary attribution. I am honored by the opportunity to lead this incredible company and build upon the accomplishments that Tom and team have achieved thus far.”
