The U.S. mobile ad market is poised to blow by desktop spending for the first time this year, according to a new eMarketer report in September 2015. Marketers will spend $30.45 billion on mobile ads in 2015, a 59% increase from 2014, across all industries worldwide. Additionally, US app install ad spending totaled $1.67 billion in 2014, and eMarketer expects this to reach $3 billion in 2015. The app marketing industry is at a tipping point with an ever-increasing need for education and resources geared specifically towards non-gaming mobile marketers.
The day-to-day challenges for non-gaming app marketers are distinctly different from games, and require specialized industry expertise and guidance in order for the industry to mature and grow to meet global market demand.
