Simulmedia Adds Top Media Executives Tim Spengler, Jack Wakshlag, and Marshall Cohen to Board of Advisors

They are: Tim Spengler, one of the most influential media buyers of the last two decades and, most recently, President of Content Marketing and Revenue Strategy at iHeartMedia; Jack Wakshlag, a renowned industry thought leader with a PhD in Communications and Media Research who was most recently Chief Research Officer for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc.; and Marshall Cohen, ​a prominent marketing strategist who was on the management team that launched MTV, VH1, Nick at Nite and TV Land, built the consumer research department at AOL, and consulted for many TV networks including ESPN and CBS.

Dr. Wakshlag is currently the Chair of the North American Board of the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute, and is an Advisory Board Member of the Wharton Future of Advertising Project. Before Turner, Dr. Wakshlag held senior research positions with The WB Television Network and CBS.

Mr. Cohen is Founder and President of Marshall Cohen Associates, an entertainment, media, and market research company which he has run since 1992. Additionally, he has served a dozen years as a member of the Pilot Group, a private equity firm founded by Bob Pittman. He also served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Research at Univision Communications, after his posts with MTV Networks, AOL and AOL TimeWarner.
