STOCKHOLM – PubMatic, the marketing automation software company for publishers, announced it has been selected by Hemnet, one of the largest publishers in Sweden, to exclusively power the publisher’s programmatic advertising strategy across its desktop and mobile inventory. This is Hemnet’s first entry into the programmatic space, as it responds to the significant demand from advertisers and media agencies in the Swedish market for automated advertising.

After carefully vetting several different SSPs, Hemnet chose PubMatic as its exclusive provider. Hemnet will work with PubMatic to monetize the significant programmatic opportunity that exists in the Swedish market. In fact, PubMatic’s Q4 2015 Quarterly Mobile Index (QMI) revealed that monetized mobile impression volume in EMEA was up 82 per cent in Q4 2015, year-over-year. Advertisers and buyers will benefit significantly from the scale and valuable audience of this new high-quality inventory.
