Meteoric rise of programmatic video private exchange software provider shows no sign of stopping as the company boosts its global presence
London, UK: StickyADS.tv – the leading multiscreen video ad tech company – has expanded its staff with two UK appointments following a series of successes. Rashmi Paul joins as the UK Head of Publisher Services and Richard Astley joins as Head of Agency Partnerships. Having achieved over 290% growth within four years, the company is surpassing expectations and increasing its UK presence, underlining its commitment to further its impressive reach in the market.
The strategic expansion of the UK team comes after a sustained period of scale-up growth for StickyADS.tv. Last year, the company achieved turnover in excess of £35 million and opened its seventh office, in New York – adding to its already extensive international footprint; spanning Milan, London, Hamburg, Madrid, and Paris.
Rashmi Paul joins StickyADS.tv as the UK Head of Publisher Services, bringing more than 12 years’ experience in digital and TV. Having spent seven years at MediaCom UK before entering the world of ad tech as Innovid’s Head of Publisher Partnerships, Rashmi has been selected to amplify StickyADS.tv’s UK offering.
“My aim is to help broadcasters and premium publishers to transition to trading programmatically, on their own terms to achieve the best returns,” said Rashmi Paul, UK Head of Publisher Services. “StickyADS.tv is the best provider in the market to empower publishers with control of their inventory and monetising their video content directly with buyers, and – as TV and video continue to converge – it is an exciting time to onboard these innovative solutions to publishers.”
Richard Astley joins the UK team as Head of Agency Partnerships having spent over ten years working across a range of digital disciplines, including programmatic VOD, display, and SEO. Richard spent nearly four years at DigitasLBi before joining digital sales house Mediasyndicator, signaling his first move to video. His experience in account acquisition at Magnetic and Videology will be invaluable to StickyADS.tv as he works to stimulate demand across media agencies and trade desks.
“StickyADS.tv is bolstering its presence in the UK market and beyond at the perfect moment as demand for video grows exponentially, and I’m thrilled to be joining StickyADS.tv at this exciting time in the company’s international growth,” commented Richard Astley, UK Head of Demand Sales.
Commenting on the appointments, Greg Carroll, StickyADS.tv’s Country Manager UK commented, “Rashmi and Richard both bring a wealth of expertise to the team. With their complementary abilities in delivering publishing services and enhancing relations with the agencies and their trading desks, the UK team will be a vital addition to StickyADS.tv’s continued path to global success.”
The speed at which StickyADS.tv has reached such an impressive scale secured the business a ranking amongst the fastest growing technology companies in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA 2015. Additionally, the company made history when it became the first ad tech provider to be awarded the prestigious Born Global prize in the Start-up of the Year category at the 2015 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards in Paris.
With further plans to extend its global presence and increase its workforce to a total of 130 employees by the end of the year, it’s certain 2016 will be an equally busy and profitable year for StickyADS.tv.
