Cheezburger was formed by Ben Huh in 2007 after he purchased “I Can Has Cheezburger”, a site famous for its cat pictures overlayed with text, and transformed it into a blog network focused on humor with a company mission to “Make The World Happier for 5 Minutes a Day.” EBaum’s World was founded by Eric Bauman in 2001 featuring entertainment media such as videos, cartoons, and web games.

Literally Media was founded in 2015 by ad tech veterans from eXelate, Microsoft, Ybrant and Lycos with the realization that publishers must make smarter data-driven decisions at the traffic and product level in order to improve user discoverability and audience engagement within their sites and content.
