Mobile Advertising Leader Kargo Expands Executive Leadership Team to Help Drive Continued International Growth

Oliver Clamp, Arthur Cole, Graeme Finneberg and Luke Baker will be based out of Kargo’s Flagship Global Office in London

NEW YORK – Kargo, the leader in mobile brand advertising, announces the appointment of four digital and mobile advertising veterans who will play key roles in driving the company’s continued international growth.

“Kargo’s focus on quality extends beyond building premium mobile ads that consumers actually want to engage with to the talented international employees that we hire and retain”

Oliver Clamp will serve as VP of International Business Development, Arthur Cole will act as VP of International Operations, Graeme Finneberg as VP of UK Sales and Luke Baker as Agency Group Head. The addition of these four executives follows a record-breaking year during which Kargo expanded internationally into the UK market in April 2016, exceeded $100 million in 2015 revenue and was recognized for its growth and success by prominent organizations including Inc., Business Insider and Crain’s New York Business.

“Kargo’s focus on quality extends beyond building premium mobile ads that consumers actually want to engage with to the talented international employees that we hire and retain,” said Harry Kargman, Founder & CEO of Kargo. “We’re excited to have Oliver, Arthur, Graeme and Luke on our team to continue expanding the quality mobile advertising tools Kargo clients have come to expect into the UK market and beyond.”

Prior to joining Kargo, Oliver Clamp served as Vice President of International, Global Monetisation at Millennial Media, becoming the Senior Director of International Mobile Supply at AOL following its acquisition of Millennial in 2015. With years of experience developing new global business partnerships, Clamp is well-equipped to grow and maintain Kargo’s Global Publisher business, which already includes premium publishers such as MailOnline and Hearst UK, along with more than a dozen others. Together these publishers allow marketers to reach 49% of the UK mobile audience, according to comScore.

Arthur Cole brings more than a decade of advertising experience to Kargo. Throughout his career he has held various senior management positions at several leading advertising technology and media companies, including MySpace, Hearst, Rhythm New Media, Appealing Media, YuME, and most recently as the VP of EMEA Operations at Videology Inc. In his new role, Cole will manage all international products and clients to ensure that Kargo’s international expansion is seamless for all partners and customers.

Graeme Finneberg comes from ESI Media where he served as Digital Commercial Director. At Kargo, he’ll concentrate on building relationships with major agencies and clients and establishing the Kargo brand name in the UK market. Luke Baker, who has previously held roles at Apple and Microsoft, will report to Finneberg and work with him to drive UK business. Clamp, Cole and Finneberg will report to Owen Hanks, who was recently named Kargo’s first General Manager, International to lead the company’s global expansion.

“Marketing clients and their agencies in the UK are hiring Kargo because they have a large appetite for digital and mobile advertising beyond what Facebook and Google offer,” said Hanks. “Our expanding team of business growth and development experts in London, which now includes these four talented employees, will help meet the needs of Kargo’s growing global business.”

Kargo is the only mobile advertising company that not only creates rich-media campaigns for 200+ brands (including Unilever, Procter & Gamble, Verizon and L’Oréal), but also partners with a handpicked network of 300 top publishers (including Hearst, The New York Times, CBS Interactive, etc.) —reaching an audience that rivals Google and Facebook in terms of scale.
