NEW YORK, NY – CMO Club Cares is a program formed by The CMO Club and their members that brings together the best and brightest CMOs and leverages their combined expertise and passion to benefit charitable causes. The CMO Club is pleased to provide insights, inspiration, and guidance to four worthwhile charities at the September 2016 Innovation and Inspiration Summit in London.
The CMO Club (TheCMOClub.com) facilitates networking and fosters peer-to-peer connections between CMOs in a positive, candid, and collaborative environment. The Summit also provides a unique opportunity for top senior marketing members to help care for the needs of a wider community when they volunteer their insights, experience, and precious time to solve some of the participating charities’ greatest business challenges.
Club member and CMO of Aon, Phil Clement said, “This is an amazing opportunity to work alongside charitable organizations that desperately need the help of experienced marketers. When we are given the opportunity to put it to use in this way, we are rewarded in ways that our day-to-day jobs may not present.”
During the Summit, The CMO Club senior marketing leaders will facilitate problem-solving and creative brainstorming sessions for the charities in attendance.
“Our members are so engaged, passionate, and really care about helping deserving causes. Their expertise and problem-solving skills are even more valuable then writing a check. In addition, new friendships are formed between charities and CMOs that benefit all well beyond the summit programs,” noted Pete Krainik, founder of The CMO Club.
Over the years, the members of The CMO Club have recommended charities, varying in size and area of charitable impact, to be a part of this initiative. The charities participating with CMOs at the summit include:
Lucy’s Air Ambulance
A road and air ambulance provided at no cost to those children requiring hospital transfers by helicopter or fixed-wing aircraft, depending on distance, and will be mobilized at the request of the senior medical staff coordinating their care.
