Bluecore Nabs Former E-Commerce Executive, Analyst to Lead Insights Division

Jared Blank joins Bluecore Executive Team as Senior Vice President of Data Analysis and Insights

Bluecore, an industry leading customer experience platform empowering marketers to take immediate action on behavioral and product data, is proud to announce that eCommerce industry leader Jared Blank has joined the team as senior vice president of data analysis and insights.

In this role, Blank will be responsible for helping Bluecore customers make strategic business decisions based on a comprehensive data set that spans more than 300 retail brands. Bluecore’s team of data scientists and analysts will leverage terabytes of customer and product data to produce actionable insights that will assist marketers in driving greater customer retention and conversion.

“I’ve been in our customers’ shoes and I understand their data challenges,” said Blank, who used Bluecore’s platform in his previous roles as a marketing executive. “I’m excited to develop a team that will help marketers extract critical insights from a data set that is truly unique to Bluecore and apply those learnings across their entire marketing organizations.”

Blank’s career includes a long tenure as the vice president of e-commerce for retail powerhouse Tommy Hilfiger, where he leveraged Bluecore’s platform to drive email campaign open rates of more than 50 percent and double the retailer’s email newsletter subscribers. His diverse experience also involves his recent role as the chief marketing officer of online deal finder, DealNews, and time as a senior consultant and analyst in the travel and email marketing industries at Deloitte and Jupiter Research, respectively.

“I’ve been lucky enough to work with Jared for many years now, and his intimate knowledge of both our platform and the business challenges our customers face on a daily basis make Jared a critical addition to our executive team,” said Fayez Mohamood, co-founder and CEO of Bluecore. “Jared’s unique mixture of experience and expertise as industry practitioner, analyst and corporate executive will deliver extensive value to both Bluecore and our customers alike.”

The latest addition comes on the heels of several significant company milestones and investments that support Bluecore’s impressive growth in the past year. The numbers of employees have doubled since the fall of 2015, with new executive roles announced last month to lead the Engineering and Customer Success teams. The team expansions will help Bluecore meet the demands of the more than 200 retail partners it has acquired across the United States and the United Kingdom in just over two years.
