Cuebiq Appoints Investor Michael Della Penna as EVP of Growth and Strategic Partnerships

Former Oracle Exec to Lead Cuebiq’s Business Development Efforts

New York, NY – Industry veteran Michael Della Penna has been appointed to the role of executive vice president of growth and strategic partnerships at location intelligence company Cuebiq. Della Penna takes on this role in addition to his role as an early-stage investor in the company. In this newly created position, Della Penna will work closely with the company’s CEO, Antonio Tomarchio, to accelerate the company’s aggressive growth plan and strategy for it’s expanding location data and analytics offerings.

Michael has over 25 years of experience working in the digital advertising industry. Previously, he served as Group Vice President, Oracle Marketing Cloud and Senior Vice President of Emerging Channels at Responsys, prior to its $1.5 Billion dollar acquisition by Oracle in 2014. Prior to Oracle and Responsys, Michael founded Conversa Marketing, a social CRM company that was acquired by StrongView (now Selligent) in 2010. Michael’s other notable senior positions include Chief Marketing Officer at Epsilon, CMO at Bigfoot Interactive, VP of Strategic Development at CNET Networks, Inc., and VP, Marketing at ZDNet. Michael has been recognized as one of B-to-B Magazines “100 Most Influential People in Business-to-Business and Interactive Marketing” five times for his ongoing contributions to establishing digital marketing best practices.

Marketers are beginning to see the potential that location intelligence brings, and according to a recent report released by Markets and Markets, the location analytics market is estimated to grow from $8.20 Billion in 2016 to $16.34 Billion by 2021, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 17.6% during the forecast period.

Della Penna is based in Cuebiq’s New York office and reports directly to Cuebiq’s CEO and Founder Antonio Tomarchio. Della Penna holds a B.B.A. and an M.B.A. from Hofstra University.
