Krush Media to manage media sales, ad operations, and yield management for SNAP’s popular video chat applications
NEW YORK, NY — Snap Interactive, Inc. (“SNAP,” the “Company,” “we,” “our” or “us”) (OTCQB: STVI), a leading provider of live video social networking and interactive dating applications, announced an exclusive media representation and ad operations partnership with Krush Media, a full-service digital advertising and media company that allows brands and publishers to traditionally and programmatically execute powerful ad campaigns that engage and monetize audiences across all screens. Under the agreement, Krush Media’s experienced ad sales team will represent SNAP’s video properties – including Paltalk, Camfrog and Tinychat – to ad agencies, programmatic trade desks and ad networks. Krush Media will also oversee ad operations and yield management to optimize SNAP’s monetization efforts across its full stack of inventory.
“We are excited to form an advertising partnership with Krush Media,” said Alex Harrington, CEO of SNAP. “We have an extensive inventory of addressable advertising space with millions of users active on our properties, but have not built internal expertise in maximizing the advertising revenue opportunity. We believe Krush Media has the expertise to broaden our advertisers, improve our inventory utilization, and increase our eCPMs. We look forward to further monetizing our valuable properties.”
In addition to managing direct and programmatic ad sales, Krush Media will be responsible for monetizing SNAP’s ad inventory across its key applications Paltalk, Camfrog and Tinychat, which record millions of registered users worldwide. Together, these products power one of the world’s largest global collections of video-based communities, with proprietary technology to host thousands of simultaneous live group conversations on topics such as politics, financial markets, music and dating. SNAP communities combined have tens of millions of registered users and attract a demographically and geographically diverse user base, with users in over 180 different countries as of March 31, 2017.
“SNAP has a history of building successful applications that attract millions of unique users, and our team of digital advertising specialists will work to generate the highest revenue per visitor,” said Jeff Chi, Co-founder and COO, Krush Media. “SNAP’s properties have an impressive reach, creating very targetable display, video and native ad inventory across mobile and desktop for our ad clients. We are also excited to help SNAP analyze its valuable inventory to provide more appropriate and relevant advertising to its users. Krush Media excels at driving the most significant revenue uplift possible for our publisher clients, and we are confident this new partnership with SNAP will substantially improve SNAP’s financial results.”
