London: Sovrn, which helps more than 20,000 independent online publishers succeed, today announced it has become the first adtech company to achieve certification for the Internet Advertising Bureau’s (IAB) UK Gold Standard in the ‘support’ category, and the fourth company to be verified for the seal.
Designed to raise standards in digital advertising, and address the key issues facing the industry, the Gold Standard confirms Sovrn meets all of the IAB UK’s criteria: reducing ad fraud through the implementation of the ads.txt initiative, obtaining JICWEBS’ DTSG certification for brand safety, and improving the digital advertising experience by adhering to the IAB’s ‘LEAN’ principles and the Coalition for Better Advertising standards.
The initiative was approved by all 24 IAB UK board member companies and demonstrates Sovrn’s commitment to providing transparency to the digital supply chain, making it better, safer and a trusted environment for buyers.
