Impremedia Approved for TAG Registry, Highlighting Efforts to Improve Transparency, Fight Digital Ad Fraud

NEW YORK — Impremedia, the leader in Hispanic content and marketing services, announced it has been approved for the TAG Registry by the Trustworthy Accountability Group (TAG), marking an important step in the company’s efforts to improve transparency and combat ad fraud. TAG Registered companies have been verified as legitimate participants in the digital advertising industry through a proprietary background check and review process powered by Dun & Bradstreet and approved by TAG.

“Brands and marketers are prioritizing strategies towards ensuring brand safety when reaching audiences digitally. There is a great opportunity for premium publishers like Impremedia to offer a fraud-free, brand safe experience, adjacent to high-quality editorial content, resulting in more meaningful advertising executions from top brands”

Companies that complete the “Verified by TAG” process receive a TAG-ID, a unique, global and persistent identifier that enables partners to verify legitimacy and reputation. TAG Registration is also the first step in applying for all of TAG’s seal programs.

“We are delighted to recognize Impremedia for joining the TAG Registry and validating its role as a legitimate participant in the digital advertising industry,” said Rachel Nyswander Thomas, SVP of Programs and Policy, Trustworthy Accountability Group. “By completing the ‘Verified by TAG’ process, Impremedia has taken an important step towards creating a transparent supply chain, thus helping to deliver a safe environment for brands online and combat fraudulent traffic.”

It was launched in 2016 by the American Association of Advertising Agencies, Association of National Advertisers, and the Interactive Advertising Bureau to eliminate fraudulent traffic, combat malware, prevent Internet piracy, and promote greater transparency in digital advertising.
