LONDON — Global digital agency, Isobar has elevated Simon Gill to Chief Experience Officer (CXO), EMEA and Daniël Sytsma to Chief Design Officer (CDO), EMEA with immediate effect. They will be critical in driving Isobar’s creative and design reputation in EMEA and in supporting Isobar’s position as an agency that delivers experience-led transformation through the creative use of digital. Gill will be based in London, in Isobar’s global headquarters and will report into Isobar Global CEO, Jean Lin, and Sytsma will be based in Isobar’s Amsterdam office and report into Sven Huberts, Director of Strategic Growth, EMEA.
Isobar Strengthens EMEA Team with Chief Experience Officer and Chief Design Officer roles
They will both work closely with Isobar’s country leaders and heads of creative and experience in EMEA to expand Isobar’s solutions for clients and drive creative and design excellence in the region, and will partner with Sven Huberts, Director of Strategic Growth, EMEA in driving growth in the region.

Gill’s previous role was Chief Creative Officer at Isobar UK where he also worked with the Dentsu Aegis Network portfolio of agencies, to champion the creative use of digital. Having spent more than 20 years at the forefront of digital marketing, Gill is an award winning creative, jury president and industry commentator. With a PhD in Multimedia, he has a proven track record in delivering creative excellence for global brands and has a reputation for building award winning, multi-disciplinary teams, that skillfully combine the promise of brands with the power of technology to create exceptional experiences and real business results.
Sytsma founded Studio Kraftwerk, a design agency for innovation and digital products in 2014, with the agency becoming part of Dentsu Aegis Network in 2016. In the last decade he has worked on the intersection of design and innovation with forward thinking brands like Volkswagen, Philips, Porsche, Adidas and Diageo. Daniël is an advocate of digital design, as a keynote speaker, jury president and guest lecturer. His work has been recognised on the International stage, including the Webby Awards, Cannes Lions, Eurobest and the Red Dot (Grand Prix). In 2015 he was named Design Professional of the Year.
Most recently, Isobar was named a leader in Gartner’s 2018 Magic Quadrant, for the fourth consecutive time and won the Digital Craft Grand Prix at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2018, for ‘Aeronaut,’ a fully immersive VR experience that launched Billy Corgan’s 2017 solo album Ogilala.
