Leading Location Data company, Factual, has announced two key hires and a promotion in the London office as the business accelerates growth into European markets.
Senior marketer Anna-Liisa Goshawk has joined as Head of Marketing, Europe, to encourage continued adoption of Factual’s offerings for brands, agencies and partners and build on the existing reputation for quality and trusted location data in the UK and Europe.
This appointment follows the addition of Ross Webster joining as European Managing Director. Ross joined from IBM Watson and The Weather Company, where he spent ten years building revenue, partnerships and structure as the Managing Director and VP of EMEA.
In 2019, Factual announced the re-availability of its Audience Targeting, Measurement and Insights products in Europe in line with the GDPR compliance programme and the renewed availability of its audience based products in Europe. Factual has seen strong and growing demand across the region, with many customers seeking a local and more collaborative relationship to deliver effective and creative location data solutions at scale.
The expanding European team ensures Factual is positioned to develop relationships with a growing list of international customers and partners who can invest with confidence that Factual’s products are GDPR compliant, in an industry where transparency is increasingly called into question.
In addition, Rebecca Rose has been promoted to Head of Demand, effective immediately, and will play a pivotal role in building a European Demand team to equip more customers with trusted, high quality location data.
Anna-Liisa brings over fifteen years’ experience in B2B Marketing having held various senior marketing and management roles in media agencies, consultancies and PR agencies, helping businesses across the media, marketing and adtech landscape to drive reputation and build awareness globally.
Following IBM’s acquisition of Weather in 2016, Ross served as the Head of EMEA Partnerships for Watson Advertising. Whilst leading the established London team, Ross is charged with enabling customers to better understand consumers, reach audiences with precision and measure campaign effectiveness through Factual’s high-quality location data offering.
