Vertical Impression Awards: Digital out-of-home advertising awards determined by data.

Initiative, DSA Media and Publicis/Spark Foundry to take home the first Vertical Impression Awards for the best digital out-of-home campaigns.

Edmonton, Canada: Vertical Impression, the rapidly growing Canadian elevator communication and advertising company, is excited to announce the winners of their inaugural Vertical Impression Awards. The first advertising awards of its kind in the Canadian out-of-home space where the winners are determined by data and campaign performance.

The Vertical Impression Awards aren’t your traditional ad awards. They use anonymous campaign data and the company’s proprietary ad attention score to determine the winners. In doing so the company follows strict consumer data privacy principles. The company is the first Canadian digital out-of-home provider to be awarded Privacy by Design certification.

“Out-of-home industry isn’t known for the use of real-time targeting, data or insights. Traditionally, those were the strengths of digital ads. We’re changing that because we can tell clients how their campaigns are performing,” said Nicolette Leonardis, the VP of Sales + co-founder at Vertical Impression. “Our targeting and reporting capabilities are similar to what digital marketers are used to. The Vertical Impression Awards are a great way to demonstrate the powers of digital out-of-home advertising to marketers across Canada and to recognize our clients for their hard work using the most impartial jury – data.”
