M&C Saatchi NY Appoints Rich Pacheco as Director of Finance & Operations

Former DDB exec joins growing leadership team

NEW YORK – M&C Saatchi announced that Rich Pacheco has joined its growing NY office as Director of Finance and Operations. Pacheco officially started in mid October and reports to agency CEO Jeff Brooks.

Most recently, Pacheco was Chief Credit Officer at DDB Worldwide, a position he held for two years. Prior, Pacheco spent over five years at the same agency as a Senior Financial Analyst. During his time there he worked on various initiatives to improve profitability globally, including project-managing DDB’s North American IT consolidation, the financial integration of Omnicom’s Indian acquisition, Mudra Group, and helping to architect Omnicom’s working capital program. Earlier in his career he worked for Interpublic’s FutureBrand.

In his new role he is responsible for the overall management of the agency’s financial health, as well as various aspects of company operations including client/vendor contract development, information technology management, real estate negotiations, corporate development, and human resource oversight.

Pacheco cited “the magnitude of the opportunity” when describing why he chose to leave a senior job at a large holding-company agency. He added: “DDB was great and helped me develop some really important skills. But I was itching to be more entrepreneurial. The chance to purpose-build an agency for today, with some really experienced leaders, was too good to pass up.”
