BrightLine Adds Geo-Sync, Social, and Multi-Screen Shopping to UXTV Ads for Connected Television

Connected TV rich media solution enhances ad product suite to accommodate advertiser demand for advanced functionality shown at CES

LAS VEGAS – BrightLine, the leading rich media solution for connected TV, launched three innovative new enhancements to its ‘UXTV™’ connected TV ad products. In addition to making Connected TV media more valuable by adding a measurable engagement layer, BrightLine’s clients can now include new enhancements which allow for geographically customized/addressable content, integration with leading social platforms, and multi-screen shopping capabilities.

BrightLine’s UXTV ads for Connected TV already see click rates averaging 2.5%, with engagement durations of 2 minutes. These new enhancements allow for greater customization and alignment with observed advertiser demand for improved TV rich media ad units, bringing features ubiquitous with web/mobile rich media advertising to Connected TV. Enhancement details include:

  • GeoSync CTV: Connected TV creative which automatically recognizes viewers’ locations and customizes the ad accordingly with regionalized pricing, store locators, local deals, and even dynamic content based on current local weather and other addressable messaging.
  • SocialStream CTV: Allows CTV audiences to view real-time dialogue from brands’ social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, keeping their TV rich media ads dynamic and relevant.
  • ShopList CTV: Viewers can continue their TV ad engagement via mobile by saving onscreen branded looks, recipes, and shopping lists directly to their phone from the TV ad experience.

The above feature enhancements can be used via UXTV’s in-stream overlays, and/or after clicking and engaging with ads, giving viewers the optimal ad experience tailored to their viewing behavior, and is supported across all leading Connected TV platforms.
