Bucking industry-wide drop in live events, inVNT’s first-half 2009 revenues jump 50 percent over last year’s strong second half; Opens new offices in New York and Washington
NEW YORK & WASHINGTON – inVNT, a live events agency, announced deals with PepsiCo, Subway and the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA), capping a strong first half of the year with the launch of new offices strategically located in New York and Washington, D.C. to serve corporate and trade association clients.
inVNT produces experiences that energize brands in the eyes of customers, partners and employees. The company has grown rapidly since its creation in June 2008 despite an industry-wide drop in live events. inVNT’s revenues for the first half of 2009 jumped 50 percent over last year’s strong second half.
inVNT’s creativity and event production expertise stem from the diverse backgrounds of its employees, including Hollywood TV and movie production, concert production for high-profile rock bands, and events for the President of the United States.
“There’s just no substitute for face-to-face, personal interaction to build relationships and close a deal,” said Scott Cullather, inVNT’s managing partner. “inVNT has been so successful so quickly because we create meetings, trade shows and other live events that generate leads and strengthen business relationships for our clients, including some of the best-known companies and trade associations in America.”
inVNT enables smart organizations to use live events during the current recession to leap ahead of retrenching competitors.
For Frito-Lay, a business unit of PepsiCo, inVNT produced the 2009 Frito-Lay Leadership Meeting, using audience-polling technology to boost participation and cutting-edge production technology to design and stage interactive presentations for former Vice President Al Gore and alternative medicine guru Dr. Deepak Chopra. inVNT also produced PepsiCo’s 2008 National Bottler Meeting, a three-day event with 1,000 attendees where Pepsi introduced its new branding.
For the Outdoor Advertising Association of America, inVNT produced its 2009 OBIE Awards, the top recognition event for the outdoor advertising industry.
For Subway, inVNT is designing and producing the general session presentations and awards program for next month’s Annual Franchisee Convention, which will host 4,000 franchisees and vendors from around the world.
inVNT will mark the opening of its New York and Washington, D.C. offices with a launch celebration in both locations on Tuesday, July 14, at 5:30 p.m. Dozens of inVNT clients will attend or be featured in video presentations. Many will be available to discuss their opinions on the value of live events in a tight economy.
