Industry Vets, Mike Loftus and David Ozer, to Join Management Team

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – iPOWOW!, a developer and service provider of market research tools for gathering viewer opinion through online video, is poised for expansion into the US Market and has established its US headquarters in Silicon Valley. As part of the expansion, CEO Gary Davis also announced the addition of two members to its management team. Mike Loftus and David Ozer join the team as chief operating officer and chief revenue officer, respectively. The additions will bring over 40 years of leadership experience to iPOWOW!’s management.

Having held the positions of Chief Executive and Chairman of various public companies, Davis has extensive experience in the Internet space, VOIP, Telco and Media business development. His most recent company, TriBeca Ltd, was sold to the Washington Post Group. Davis has worked at the highest levels of broadcast media in Australia and the UK since the mid 1980s, most notably as CEO of Britain’s ITV Network, TVAM. He is also an accomplished writer, producer and director of television, film and music, earning the projects he worked on Logie Awards, Emmy Awards, and a Golden Globe Award.

Loftus has held multiple C-level positions with startups in his career, defining their core company strategies and developing product roadmaps. Most recently he was co-founder and CEO of Broadcaster Media, Inc., a mobile marketing firm. Prior to that, he was CEO of inFreeDA, a venture backed firm that was eventually sold to AT&T. Other senior management positions include vice president of marketing for NetFish Technologies, prior to its acquisition by IONA for $243 million, and vice president of product management with Connectix, prior to its acquisition by Microsoft.

Ozer brings over 25 years senior level experience in domestic and international television distribution, financing and production. He most recently served as CEO of Highroad Entertainment Group an integrated media company that raised $10 million in foreign equity and secured $50 million in financing for individual productions. Prior to that, he was executive vice president for Liberty Media’s Starz Media,(formerly IDT Entertainment) in which he handled day-to-day operations of worldwide sales and helped generate close to $100 million in revenue. Ozer was part of a management team that helped orchestrate the sale of IDT Entertainment to Liberty Media for $450 Million.  Previous senior positions have included stints with media companies DIC Entertainment as senior vice president, and Sony’s Columbia Tri-Star Television as vice president of syndication and cable.
