Betawave Employees Join as IAB Council and Committee Members

Leading Interactive Advertising Organization Makes Room for Betawave Directors of Research, Publisher, and Business Operations to Join IAB’s Industry Groups

SAN FRANCISCO – Betawave (OTCBB:BWAV), the online media network that delivers highly attentive audiences to brand marketers, announced that Hannah Pivar, Director of Research, Caren Park, Director of Publisher Operations, and Andy Ulery, Director of Business Operations, are the newest Betawave employees to join the Councils and Committees of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB).

Pivar, formerly with comScore, joins the IAB Research Council to work together with other Council members to help identify industry research. Park, formerly with AOL, joins the IAB Ad Ops Council to help improve the operational efficiency of online advertising. Councils are based on job role or industry initiative.

Ulery also recently joins the IAB in their Games Committee with the mission to articulate the value of gaming as an advertising platform. The IAB Committee Groups provide industry leaders opportunities to work collaboratively to improve the online advertising and marketing industry. Initiatives such as research papers and drafted guidelines help prove the value of interactive or simplify the process associated with buying, planning, and creating interactive media.

Both Councils and Committees are agenda-setting groups of senior executives. Together, they help create IAB Working Groups made up of subject matter experts from member companies to focus on individual projects.
