Timex Significantly Increases Return on Ad Spend with Omniture SearchCenter

Timex Enhances Customer Web Experience and Drives Additional Sales with Omniture Products

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Omniture, an Adobe company (NASDAQ:ADBE) and a leading provider of online business optimization software, announced that Timex, one of the leading watch companies in the world, has achieved an ongoing return on ad spend as high as 500 percent and has seen a five dollar increase in average order size on the company’s website, Timex.com, with Omniture SearchCenter and Omniture SiteCatalyst.

The company realized that Timex.com had the potential to become a powerful resource for its customers to interact with product information, find local retailers and purchase products on the site. With SearchCenter and SiteCatalyst, Timex was able to increase website traffic by efficiently managing keyword searches across all major search engines and automating the management of pay-per-click campaigns, while receiving real-time data about where and why customers were navigating to or away from the site.

With SearchCenter’s ability to automatically update bids based on Timex’s rules and thresholds, the company also reduced its cost-per-click on paid search sites by 18 percent, while increasing overall traffic by 25 percent. With the surge in traffic, Timex had additional opportunities to recommend products to customers. The cross- and up-selling opportunities helped Timex increase conversion rates by 35 percent and average order value online jumped by as much as five dollars per order.
