Auditude Enters Multi-Year Exclusive Agreement With MLB Advanced Media for Ad Serving and Monetization Technology

Strategic Alliance Creates Digital Monetization Opportunities for Live Streaming, Video-On-Demand and Mobile Content

NEW YORK, NY – Auditude (www.auditude.com) and MLB Advanced Media, LP (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, announced a strategic partnership for digital ad serving and monetization. This multi-year exclusive agreement enables MLBAM to deliver video advertising across its live game streaming and video-on-demand (VOD) content, all individual Major League Baseball team Web sites, and on mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets. Auditude provides IP-based video advertising technology and solutions for premium content owners and distributors.

MLBAM is one of the largest producers of HD live video streaming for the Web, powering more than 12,000 live events annually. During the season, it creates up to 500 new video assets every day that include streams of live games, daily reports and in-progress highlights. MLBAM conducted an intensive evaluation of leading video and mobile advertising vendors and selected Auditude for its technology and its experience in helping content owners better monetize online and mobile video content and giving MLBAM greater control over managing its end users’ experiences.

“MLBAM clearly understands the value of its premium content and its audiences’ desires to consume that content in a variety of ways,” said Jeremy Helfand, CEO of Auditude. “With MLBAM focused on providing engaging experiences for its consumers across wired and wireless devices, we will help maximize the value of its content and make it easy for MLBAM’s technology, operations and sales teams to execute against its business objectives.”

“With Auditude as our partner, the system we are collaborating to build will be scalable for the audiences that accompany live, multi-platform video while effectively delivering and tracking advertising,” said Noah Garden, Executive Vice President, Revenue, MLBAM. “Working with Auditude further represents our continued efforts to develop technology that will deliver a great experience for our fans while in parallel assisting our advertising partners in reaching those fans through a seamless user experience interface.”

Beginning in the 2011 baseball season, Auditude and MLBAM will leverage their respective technologies to manage and monetize MLBAM’s digital video content, enabling the creation of custom units and integrated cross-platform campaigns for brand advertisers. This will provide more intuitively-managed video advertising campaigns across MLBAM’s digital platforms, delivering greater insight into performance and value creation. As part of the agreement, Auditude also will assist with the sale of MLBAM’s video advertising inventory.
