Company’s New National Director of Entertainment Has Made Entertainment One of Tremor Media’s Top Categories
NEW YORK – Tremor Media, the largest independent online video advertising network, announced that they have promoted Abbey Ramsey to National Director of Entertainment. Ramsey, formerly Tremor’s director of West Coast Ad Sales, will oversee revenue strategy for the entertainment category, one of the leading categories for the premier player in interactive video. She is based in Los Angeles.
Ramsey began her career at Tremor Media opening the company’s L.A. satellite office in February 2008 before advancing to Director West Coast Ad Sales, a position she held for the past two years. A specialist in entertainment advertising, Ramsey helped turn Tremor Media into the go-to video company when film, home entertainment, and TV marketers wanted to advertise online. Prior to her time at Tremor, Ramsey worked in executive positions at EW.com, the digital arm of Entertainment Weekly, and MTV Digital.
In her new role, Ramsey will internally develop category-specific strategies for inventory, pricing, ad formats and research and will inform marketing strategy. At the same time, she’ll continue to manage high-level partnerships with today’s leading entertainment companies that turn to Tremor to reach millions of engaged consumers online and deliver massive video views in a short period of time.
