Global Advertising Strategies Recognized For Its Cross-Cultural Healthcare Marketing Efforts

The agency’s work on two pharma brands takes home Gold and Bronze at the 2012 DTC National Advertising Awards

NEW YORK – New York office of Global Advertising Strategies has won Gold and Bronze honors in the Best Multicultural Campaign category at the 2012 DTC National Advertising Awards for its multicultural work with leading pharmaceutical brands. The winners were announced at the DTC National Advertising Awards Dinner last month.

“We are honored to be recognized as a leader in multicultural advertising and marketing, and applaud DTC perspectives and the industry for recognizing the importance of cross-cultural outreach,” said Givi Topchishvili, Global’s CEO. “These efforts not only promote pharmaceutical brands, but also provide critical disease awareness and education to ethnic audiences that are typically underserved and experience health disparities vs. their general market counterparts.”

The winning campaigns were noted for their strategic innovation and compelling creative execution, both of which were rooted in cultural insight that sets Global apart as a cross-cultural marketing leader.

Considered one of the most prestigious awards in pharma marketing, DTC Advertising Awards recognize best practices, knowledge and insight among marketers who lead, create, and implement direct-to-consumer communications. This year’s award consisted of 10 categories open for campaigns as well as campaign elements.
