“Scott’s rich experience leading multiple early-stage technology companies through periods of explosive growth perfectly matches our needs as Resonate enters this new stage of product development”

These hires highlight Resonate’s growth fueled by its expanding media business and rollout of its analytics and insights platform. The company is experiencing strong demand as its products help brands understand and target media based on consumer values, beliefs, product preferences, demographics and behaviors. Resonate’s ability to let brands act on what motivates consumers sets it apart from the rest of the market.

Scott Blacker has 15 years of product management experience focused on helping marketers better understand their customers. As vice president of Product Management, Blacker is charged with driving Resonate’s growth through defining, executing against, and bringing to market the company’s portfolio of Media and Analytics products.

Blacker joins Resonate from Verint, where he was senior director of Product Management. While at Verint, he was responsible for the company’s flagship Vovici product line, which lets marketers, analysts, and researchers gain deep insight into their customers. During Scott’s tenure, Verint products won multiple industry awards including the coveted ‘CRM Magazine Enterprise Feedback Management Solution of the Year’ in 2012, and a CODie award for leading mobile application.

“Scott’s rich experience leading multiple early-stage technology companies through periods of explosive growth perfectly matches our needs as Resonate enters this new stage of product development,” says CEO Bryan Gernert.

As vice president of Technical Operations, Tom Kiblin is responsible for strengthening Resonate’s infrastructure as it scales to meet the company’s growth. Kiblin honed his management expertise over the last 20 years in complex hosted infrastructure, networking, and systems monitoring companies.

Most recently, Kiblin was CTO and co-founder of Defender Hosting (acquired by IKANO Communications), a leading cloud infrastructure as a service company. Previously, Kiblin has held leadership positions at Wellfleet Communications/Bay Networks (acquired by Nortel), International Network Services (acquired by Lucent), Village Networks, YDI/Proxim Wireless and PCCW Global. He also served on the Technical Advisory Boards of several companies, including VMware Inc., Equinix Inc., Datatility Inc, and PHD Virtual Technologies.

“The experience Tom brings to Resonate is critical as we ratchet up operations to meet the demands of our customers,” said Gernert. “Our business continues to grow rapidly and under Tom’s leadership, our infrastructure will stay one step ahead of that growth.”

Both Blacker and Kiblin are based in the company’s Reston, Virginia headquarters.
