Criteo Hires Sheila Buckley as Head of North America Sales

Company Appoints Industry Veteran to Drive Continued Business Growth in the United States

New York, NYCriteo (NASDAQ: CRTO), a leading global technology company that specializes in digital performance advertising, today announced that Sheila Buckley has been hired as Head of Sales. Ms. Buckley brings more than 20 years of experience in digital and linear advertising sales and marketing to Criteo where she will be responsible for driving continued business growth in the United States.

Ms. Buckley comes to Criteo from Vibrant Media where she served as Global Chief Revenue Officer. In that role, she led a 100+ person organization across digital and mobile ad sales and marketing, successfully launching five new products in 15 months into the marketplace.

Prior to Vibrant Media, Ms. Buckley was SVP Digital, Mobile and Cross-Platform Ad Sales at The Weather Channel, where she was instrumental in Weather.com’s ranking as #1 Digital Ad sales team by the Jack Myers/IAB and three time winner of Ad Perceptions, including #1 Mobile Media. She helped develop and implement the strategy on multiple first-to-market opportunities for Weather.com including a private exchange and mobile and tablet launches.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Buckley held a range of high-level positions at Time Warner, including Associate Publisher and Publisher of Sports Illustrated and Sports Illustrated for Kids, where she was responsible for advertising sales, marketing, creative services and research for the publications, websites, and custom publishing.  Under Ms. Buckley’s leadership, Sports Illustrated for Kids was included for the first time on Adweek’s “Hot List.”

Ms. Buckley is active in her industry and is currently Co-Chair of the IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) Sales Executive Council and on the Board of Directors of AWNY (Advertising Women of New York.)
