Lithium Named Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer

Lithium Social Webrecognized yet again as world class for customer engagement

LiNC 2014

SAN FRANCISCO – Lithium Technologies announced that it has been named a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer with its Lithium Social Web™. The designation under Facebook’s program underscores Lithium’s world-class ability to help brands increase customer engagement and deliver the best possible customer experience to meet customers’ increasing expectations across social networks.

“Brands need to engage customers in real time across all the social networks where they interact. Our relationship with Facebook is one of our most important and allows us to continue to innovate and build products to help brands to meet their customers’ needs and expectations.”

Being a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer (PMD) allows Lithium to take advantage of Facebook’s API best practices.

The news follows Lithium’s earlier announcement of its entrance into the Twitter Certified Products Program and its recent acquisition of Klout as Lithium continues to deliver a trusted online connection between consumers and brands.

Lithium Social Web is one of the first platforms to be accepted into the program that focuses on high-volume social response. The product enables brands to manage their customer response and engagement along with their pages on the social network that had 1.28 billion monthly active users as of March 31.

The Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer Program recognizes companies that have developed technologies in one or more of the following specialty areas: Pages management solutions, ads management solutions, services and platforms for building socially enabled integrations, and/or tools for Page Insights analysis.

Lithium President and Chief Executive Officer Rob Tarkoff said: “Brands need to engage customers in real time across all the social networks where they interact. Our relationship with Facebook is one of our most important and allows us to continue to innovate and build products to help brands to meet their customers’ needs and expectations.”

Lithium will share more details on its Facebook PMD designation and its future product roadmap at the upcoming Lithium Network Conference (LiNC) 2014. LiNC will take place May 20-22 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.
