Industry Vet to Drive Demand-Side Programmatic Solutions for the World’s Leading Brand Marketers
NEW YORK – Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), an advertising technology company elevating brand performance across all screens for the world’s leading brands and publishers, announced it has hired Neeraj Kochhar as Head of Buy Side Platforms. In this role, Kochhar will be responsible for leading Tremor Video’s buy–side enterprise platform, including overseeing sales and marketing and anchoring product development for the company’s VideoHub® DSP and analytics suite. He will be based in New York and report to CEO Bill Day.

“As programmatic buying and selling becomes an even larger portion of our business it became clear that we need a leader who has decades of experience in the space,” said Day. “Neeraj has a keen understanding of what brand marketers truly need and the ability to work with them to provide the tools that power programmatic success. Our goal is for VideoHub to push the market forward towards greater transparency as well as brand performance accountability and Neeraj will be a big part of this effort.”
Kochhar will be responsible for overseeing all buy-side enterprise client-facing initiatives, including the company’s VideoHub DSP and analytics solutions. This will include leading the enterprise platform sales and marketing effort and anchoring product development to support client needs. Kochhar will also be tasked with driving the adoption of VideoHub products in the market and articulating client’s needs to internal product teams.

Kochhar is a veteran of digital marketing and began his career in 1998 at online advertising pioneer DoubleClick. Prior to joining Tremor Video, he served as the Managing Director of Programmatic at MAGNA GLOBAL, the strategic investment unit of IPG Mediabrands, where he drove the development and application of programmatic buying. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Reprise, IPG’s search specialist agency. Kochhar has also held senior management positions at major agency holding companies, including WPP GroupM, Starcom MediaVest Group, and MDC Partners.
Kochhar is a graduate of New York University and resides in New York City.
