PulsePoint Appoints Jack Dempsey Southerland III as SVP of Programmatic Solutions

Following the Growth of its Technology Team and Expanded C-Suite, PulsePoint Appoints Industry Vet to Lead Programmatic Solutions

NEW YORK – PulsePoint, a next-gen advertising technology platform, announced the appointment of Jack Dempsey Southerland III to the role of SVP of Programmatic Solutions. Southerland will manage the extension of PulsePoint’s open RTB platform in developing programmatic direct and custom solutions. Southerland will be responsible for developing full-funnel programmatic strategies for brands and agencies, combining PulsePoint’s customized audience and inventory packages with the scale and efficiency of its global exchange. He will report to Chief Operating Officer, Darline Jean.

Southerland joins PulsePoint from Varick Media, where he served as SVP of Programmatic Solutions and helped re-launch the Varick Media Management (VMM) Trading Desk from an in-house operation to an external desk. He also held media roles at The Media Kitchen, OMD, Deutsch and Saatchi & Saatchi, where he worked closely with top brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Band of America and Revlon. Southerland received Media Week’s Media Plan of the Year award for his work with Panasonic and was named Business Marketing Association’s Communicator of the Year for his work with Vanguard.
