Tremor Video Launches First Real-Time Video SSP Reporting

NEW YORK – Tremor Video, Inc. (NYSE:TRMR), the premium video marketplace elevating brand advertising effectiveness across all screens, announced the launch of real-time reporting in its supply side platform (SSP), allowing publishers to more accurately manage yield. Publishers can now access up-to-the-second data within Tremor Video’s SSP and make changes to their demand waterfall while immediately seeing results.

“Newsy produces more than 800 video news stories each month”

This new real-time reporting functionality, released to more than 150 clients currently using the SSP, allows publishers to instantly see their inventory being accessed and bought via programmatic direct and open auction transactions. This is crucial for premium publishers who want to effectively monitor and understand their customers’ buying patterns and take advantage of these market dynamics. Having this data helps publishers immediately confirm that their programmatic direct campaigns are live and successfully delivering.

“By building our SSP for today’s video publishers we have the ability to leverage the latest technology, such as dynamically pulling in data versus having to wait while reports crawl overnight,” said Craig Berlingo, Vice President of Product, Tremor Video. “We believe this level of transparency is crucial in helping clients better understand how their video inventory is performing and ultimately maximize the value of their premium video content.”

Digital video news service Newsy, an early adopter of Tremor Video’s real-time reporting, has seen great success with the product.

“Newsy produces more than 800 video news stories each month,” said Greg Morey, vice president of revenue development for Newsy, a wholly owned subsidiary of The E.W. Scripps Co. (NYSE: SSP). “We’re able to see when those stories start to take off, so it becomes mission critical to understand where Newsy’s real opportunities are. With Tremor Video, we’re able to drill into market activity across all of our platforms to the inventory level, and make informed decisions that optimize our scale.”

Tremor Video has a strong heritage of providing clients and partners with actionable analytics and unmatched transparency around key metrics such as viewability. The Company also allows marketers to buy on a wide variety of guaranteed pricing models only when an ad works.
