Krux Expands European Footprint with Paris and Hamburg Offices

Global DMP leader responds to growing demand for data-driven advertising, commerce and content solutions in Europe

  • Newly appointed Country Managers and Client Solutions Managers to provide local expertise and consultancy.
  • Major step in international expansion following significant business growth in EMEA and APAC regions.

London – Krux, the leading cloud-based Data Management Platform (DMP), has announced the opening of new office locations in Paris and Hamburg, its ninth and tenth global locations. The move is in response to mounting demand for data-driven advertising, commerce and content solutions in the European marketplace. This provides customers local access to Krux’s expert team and comprehensive DMP offering.

Joe Reid, Managing Director Europe, said: “Our reputation as a leader in the DMP space has grown substantially. From our beginnings in San Francisco, Krux is now one of the largest DMP providers in Europe. This move will allow us to fully service the local French and German markets and empower publishers and marketers to realise the full value and potential of their data assets.”

Reid added that the opening of each office is being supported by a Country Manager and Client Solutions Manager.

  • Tim Norris, previously Commercial Director Northern Europe, has been appointed Country Manager DACH. Tim joined Krux in November 2014 having spent four years at AOL Platforms, most recently leading UK sales across its ad serving, SSP and rich media technologies. Prior to that he worked for Host Europe Group, a leading European provider of managed and cloud hosting services.
  • Current Commercial Director Southern Europe Karim Nadi has been appointed to Country Manager France. Karim joined Krux after four years with Criteo where he was responsible for expanding Criteo’s operation in the European advertising market as well as leading the first steps in launching the mid-market business in Southern Europe. Prior to this he worked as a consultant for Thomson Reuters and News International helping clients generate revenue through marketing and advertising online.

Tim and Karim have been charged with building upon Krux’s already significant client-base across marketer, publisher and agency businesses in the French and DACH regions.

Krux, which was recently listed by Business Insider as one of the 15 fastest growing start-ups in the world, has been very active in the European market, almost since its founding in 2010. Active across five continents, Krux currently sees over 3.5 billion devices and browsers per month. These investments in Germany and France are a natural step in their global expansion. Krux already partners with local brands and media owners such as Axel Springer, one of the largest digital publishing houses in Europe, and Le Figaro, the oldest news group in France.

“Working with Krux has enabled us to significantly expand the capabilities of our data-driven advertising product, DataFactor,” said Holm Munstermann, General Manager, Axel Springer.

Krux currently partners with over 40 European brands, agencies and media owners, counting the likes of the Financial Times, BBC, Kellogg’s and HBO among its customers. In the last year the company raised $35 million in series B funding, expanded to four continents and opened its second research & development hub in Sydney.
