ClearVoice, a content marketing solution based in Phoenix, Ariz. recently announced the close of a $1.1 million round of funding, with investors including Peak Ventures, Desert Angles, PC Ventures, and two undisclosed angel investors.
ClearVoice is a software and services solution offering content tools, workflow, and marketplace to provide the support to execute end-to-end content marketing campaigns. The company also offers a transparent marketplace where companies, content creators and influencers collaborate to elastically scale their efforts.
ClearVoice also recently raised $250,000, through the Arizona Commerce Authority’s latest AZ Innovation Challenge. Prior to December 2015, ClearVoice operated without any outside funding, and since its launch, operated with a lean team anchored by engineering talent with little investment in sales and marketing. Without any outside funding the company is on pace to exceed $5 million in revenue in its first year.
“We hit the product, revenue, and delivery milestones we set out to achieve,” said ClearVoice co-founder Jay Swansson. “We came to a point where the business proved itself on paper and in practice, and we knew that seeking investment to accelerate growth made sense.”
With the investment, ClearVoice leadership will invest in sales and marketing, and fund more development and product talent to continue building a leading content marketing experience.
“We found many angel investors and a few seed stage institutions that had interest and chose the right fits at the stage we are in,” said co-founder Joe Griffin. “We’re happy to see Arizona and Utah ecosystems in rapid growth mode – it’s an exciting time.”
